Christie Campground Reviews
first time at this campsite here is a list to prepare.PROS: The bathrooms at this campsites are clean, well kept, and flushable (huge plus). Dogs are allowed here. Our campground host was very kind and helpful during our two night stay. You can purchase wood at $10 a bundle. The camp sites are spacious from each other and clean. Our favorite part was the bike path around the lake so bring them if you can!CONS: The mosquitoes here are almost unbearable… no spray, repellent, or candle could keep them off our group so be prepared. also- If you are not bringing a water toy or fishing at this lake… then there is very little opportunity to swim at eagle lake as there is no beach.
May 27, 2025 · VanessaChristie campground was wonderful. It’s clean, quiet, shaded, and close enough to the lake and marina for kayaking. There’s a 5 mile paved bike trail that goes to the marina as well. The onsite camp hosts are the best: Helpful, kind, and organized. There is firewood for sale that burned better than the wood we brought. Water spigots are close to each site. The bathrooms are clean and stocked at all times. Our girl gang felt safe as there are no bears. The ground is powdery dirt so keep that in mind when making shoe choices. We will camp here again.
Jul 01, 2024 · Joanne AtoigueWe had a very long trip from Arizona to Oregon in our RV. We didnt know what to expect when we arrived at Christie campground. Surprisingly the place was very nice, cleaned restrooms, campsites, and very friendly, accommodating hosts by Mary and Dianne were fantastic. We had a great experience there so on the way back, we stayed again at the same site, #20. We hope to return someday in the near future. Beautiful moon during our stay.
Aug 17, 2024 · Jim McCartneyA magical experience close to the lake abundant with wildlife. The cuttiest little chipmunks. Our camp hosts were wonderful. Clean bathrooms, friendly people, couldn't ask for more.
Jul 24, 2024 · Jana MFlush toilets, cold (yummy!) running water, either reserved or first come campsites... What's not to love?! Onsite hosts were friendly and helpful. Fires are allowed in firepits, and the hosts do have some firewood if you didn't bring any. Map is accurate and easy to read, and posted large at the entrance. (OK, there is no on-site shower, but it's a VERY short walk to the lake...)The paths are well marked, some are paved and easy to walk or ride a bike on, and there is a path(or dirt road if you want to drive) from the campground to the picnic area just south.Quiet hours are 10pm-8am and most folks are cognizant courteous.
