4.0
Family of 7 tent camped here in 4/2025 for spring break. It was cold but sunny most of the trip. We were the only humans there. Camped in spot 6 along the river. GORGEOUS spot. Lots of trees, picnic table, fire pit, vault toilet nearby. River will be fun in the summer months and fishing when open season. No animal sitings. Nearby forest is black from previous fire. We hiked Lewis Butte as a family and ate dinner in Winthrop. I would definitely come back again. Only four stars because not sure what it's like in the summer when campsite is full. - Heather Treas
