May 15, 2025 · bethanne brennanWe have not stayed, but we have visited. THANK YOU so much for the nice lady who owns the place for letting us leave our trailer there when we broke down nearby! No questions asked, just come back when we were able. You are a lifesaver. The folks who run this campground are super nice, pleasant happy people that were willing to help. The campground was well kept and peaceful that day, and visitors were out having fun. We will be camping here next season!!
Sep 22, 2024 · Adam SwansonMy wife and I camp there on occasion and honestly more frequently than not we just go to visit because it’s a place that just feels like home away from home, the camp manager Susan is absolutely wonderful and runs the perfect amount of a tight ship. She does so much to keep her campers safe which I love considering my son is a special needs child. I feel comfortable and safe enough to allow my child a little leeway to run around when we stay because she does have a very strict “Under 5mph” rule in effect to keep everyone at the campground safe. I know there are a lot of children running around and she proves everyday that she just wants to keep them safe. Aside from the one big rule that she has, Susan also has lots of activities planned many weekends of the month, and the campground has a pool, a bounce pillow AND a mini golf course! I highly recommend staying at this campground if you are looking for something family friendly!! Thanks again for the wonderful time, every time!
Jul 22, 2024 · Destiny HickmanClean and has a waiver to sign.. don’t take dogs or kids. They have strict rules and if your dog barks your gone and no refund. I saw the sign and thankfully my dogs were home. Kids should not bring bikes. If they make marks in the stone they have to clean it make it neat like it was before they marked up the road.. my grandsons were walking around but they mostly stayed at the camp. Thankfully no issues but this is not fort families that have noisy kids etc. kids cannot even jump in the pool . This really should be adult only and no Children here. Or no dogs allowed- was a nice place great band day night besides
Aug 13, 2024 · Heather Cauwelsmy family and I have had a permanent campsite at Cherry Grove for 5 years. when we first started camping, I swore I would never be permanent, but this place sold me. it is quiet, small, clean and very well run. there is a playground that is clean and upkept, the pool is always clean and safe for all ages. the office has some supplies and ice cream slushies and cold drinks. I am grateful that the speed limit is under 5 miles per hour to keep the kids, adults and pets who are enjoying the camp safe!!! we enjoy the many themed weekends as well as holiday weekends. there are always fun activities for everyone!! would highly recommend!!!!
