Cherokee Park Co Reviews
Dave and Kristie are two of the most kindest people we have met. Being from out of state, they welcomed us with a big smile. Thank you for having your hidden gem. Also, thank you for helping us with a longer hose for our black tank. Quite, and clean, with deer next door. Enjoyed every bit of our stay.
Oct 09, 2024 · BirdieGraded on a curve!Incredibly friendly owners running a sleepy little campground. The core amenities are well maintained, plenty of open spaces for kids to play, walk the dogs. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are, in fact, clean and functional, the main reason we moved in here. The owners worked with me to find a site that could support a length of stay over 4th of July weekend, super helpful! I did not end up staying that long.Electric and water at my site worked like a charm. There's a dump site I haven't got to yet, but looks functional and tidy. Was offered grey water clean out at my site if so desired. The rest of the amenities seem older, worn down and broken, mainly playground items, horseshoes and game room. They seem to have a problem with a couple campers not taking care of the equipment, some signs posted, so makes sense. With functional that kids still played and had fun.Swimming hole was closed and didn't look like something I'd send my kids into anyway. Paddle boats were available but dirty from recent rain.Overall recommend if you want a quiet weekend at a decent rate and you are either kid-less or have a pack of kids that are happy free ranging. Just make sure they are respectful of the park!!! Lots of signs posted about supervising your kids.No problems here with my dogs.
Jun 30, 2024 · Corey Murphyhad a terrible experience didn't end up even staying 24 hours for memorial weekend ,they didn't have enough power to work anything in our pop up. they acted like it was an issue with our pop up we took our pop up elsewhere and everything worked perfectly fine. save your money and some stress by not camping here my whole family felt uncomfortable in the environment as well. definitely won't recommend this campground to anyone I know.
May 29, 2024 · Kimberly VentroneWaking up here is like waking up in a meadow surrounded by trees. Only the meadow has been carefully mowed. There’s lots and lots of grass and it’s all beautifully manicured. The owners are as nice as can be. And easy going. You feel like you’re among friends. We especially like site E4 where we stayed. If you’re not going to use your air conditioner, let them know and you may get a small break on the rate. We were just here overnight, but plan to come back to explore Akron and perhaps Cleveland as this is a nice quiet place to spend the night. We also like that it’s dark at night. There are enough lights for security, but you can still see the stars.
Jun 20, 2023 · Roxanne FarmerCouple who run it are getting older and camp is getting in disrepare. We had a nice site and know problems. However looking around things are getting let go. Mostly a summer rental park.
