As with all state parks, a vehicle admission fee is required for entry unless covered by your camping reservation. Cheaha State Park Lower Improved Campground Reviews
We really enjoyed our stay at the campground. We love that it is gated entry! The bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. The only thing that could have been better was the internet signal for Verizon. We will try Upper campgrounds next time. Maybe the internet is better there, but we will definitely be back.
Nov 16, 2022 · MelissaVery clean and well taken care of. We showed up Sunday afternoon so cannot say how it is during the weekends as far as noise from kids and dogs. Hiking trails are top notch
Oct 21, 2024 · Tyrone BiggumsThis was a nice little campground. We were in site 64 and although it looks big on the map, it was a tight squeeze setting up. We were in an Rpod and almost didn't have room to put our awning out.Bath house and showers were dated but kept very clean.Data is definitely not great but I was able to check in with the kids from the bath house area.
Oct 26, 2023 · DonnaVery Nice Campground. Super clean bathrooms and showers. Some of the campsites might be a little difficult for larger RVs but I saw plenty of big ones in there and they made do. Wish they had a way for guests to check in at the actual Campground instead of having to go to the top of the mountain to the store and check in. But that's a minor inconvenience. Also wish the gate and keypad were fixed as well, just to make sure that nonpaying people couldn't just ride through. Well pleased with everything else. The store has a good selection of items in case you forget anything. The swimming pool was nice. Fantastic view. 100% will be back to this Campground.
