Chattooga Sounds Camp Reviews
I love this place!!!! Greg is a great dude that cares about his facility and his campers. The bath houses are amazing, like a real bathroom. We have been going here with our whole family in a group site for years. He hosts all kinds of events. Weddings, corporate, personal, etc. He has RV sites, shelter sites, group sites, trails,a rope course. The list goes on. Go see for yourself. Tell them the Creamers said hi!!
Sep 28, 2024 · Ricci CreamerMy husband and I have camped here several times. We will always choose this campground if we are in the area. The owner is so nice and helpful. The campground, showers and restrooms are always cared for and clean. I love that our tent can have an adirondack shelter. So we don't have to worry about weather. There's also a table built into the shelter to rest your belongings. Location is not far from fun trails, waterfalls, and the river! The only thing I would change is the check in/ reservations for convenience and ease of confirmation. Currently they only take reservations by phone and you don't receive any visual confirmation as proof, but this has never been a real issue. They seem to be very well organized.
Jul 08, 2024 · Sarah ChapmanLoved our extended weekend in the woods! Greg and GiGi were amazing and the campgrounds are well kept. Lots of waterfalls close by to hike and play. No wifi service so the family can unplug and have quality family time! Love the sheds on each site, amazing for pop up showers and storms.
Jun 03, 2024 · Tonya MillerHidden Gem!! We spent the weekend there for a wedding at Chattooga Belle Farms. We had the best time. It’s very secluded, quiet and no WiFi so you’re able to totally disconnect from busy lives. The sites are large and we had all the room we needed for 6 adults and a baby. I recommend sites 7/8 if you’re traveling with another camper. There’s so much room at those sites. We were all spread out and even set up a movie screen and projector . The owner is very nice and makes rounds through the campground to keep an eye on everything. The bathhouse is VERY clean and we used it instead of our camper showers. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you Greg!
Sep 19, 2022 · Paula DuckettMy son and I tent camped here 2 years ago late or post season; think we were the only ones there. It was our first time tent camping alone. The bathhouses were impeccable, as were the grounds. You pay cash in a drop box. Not all sites are walk-ins, so choose based on your needs. Water, electric, picnic table and fire pit provided.Met the owner the following morning. He was super nice and exchanged a long conversation. Loved it even more learning he was a Veteran! I didn't realize there was an RV side across the street. Shopping, restaurants, hiking trails and white water rafting are all really close by. Will have to bring my 5er one day!
