★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stayed in one of the lodge rooms facing the stage/courtyard. Rooms are very basic but they are very clean with a comfortable bed and affordable pricing. There are no bathrooms in the rooms but the bathhouse is maybe 75 feet away and clean with large showers. If music is outside, it stops at 10 and we really enjoyed sitting outside our room listening to some great tunes each night. Mat, the owner, as well as the rest of the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful with where to go and what to do in the area. This was a great experience and I highly recommend.
July 21 · VolguyWe love getting away to Chattooga Lodge from the busy city streets of Charlotte — it’s always such a relaxing, welcoming experience. The owners truly care, with Mat often checking in personally during your dinner at Willie's Tavern, while his wife Teresa creates a warm & engaging live music atmosphere on stage. Every detail is thoughtful, and the communication is top-notch. Nestled in the beautiful SC foothills, it's the perfect spot to enjoy whitewater rafting, wineries, nature walks, and true Southern hospitality. Highly recommend!
June 26 · Philip FunderburkWe camped here our family and had a great time. The campsite was beautiful and private. The staff had great recommendations for hikes, and our night owls enjoyed the music. After a long day of hiking, we were overjoyed to be able to order some delicious hamburgers, too. We are already planning our next trip back.
July 08 · Tammy PrivetteSuper friendly, great bar, music, dogs had a blast. Court roar yard room was a little noisy at night with some wee hour revelers. Turned on AC and it drowned them out. Next time a room on the other side. Thanks to Teresa of Matt, Curtis, and Chris for a great experience. We'll definitely be back
July 21 · Chip SummersStayed at site 2 which was right next to the creek with an awesome little sandy beach and seemed to be one of the more private spots. No one was in 1 or 3 while we were there which made it more private. The hill down to the site makes it a bit challenging to carry camping supplies so that’s something to consider if you have physical limitations. The kids and dogs had a great time playing in the creek while camping. The lodge always has a nice supply of firewood. We didn’t get to eat at the lodge but instead got some coffee, bagels, pizza and ice cream right up the road at Humble Pie. It’s very close and everything was delicious! It is a great place to camp especially for novice campers like us who wanted access to some things including a bath house. The bath house was being cleaned while we were there and it is definitely taken care of regularly though if you expect a Ritz Carlton bath experience you will be disappointed. It’s a campground and the bath house is a nice amenity to have access to! Owner Matt was very kind and responsive to questions! I definitely recommend Chattooga Lodge and Campground!
