Castle Mound Campground Reviews
Beautiful campground if you stay inside all the time. Mosquitos are brutal and centronella dont help or repellant either they enjoy it i believe. And it's all day and calms a little at night only. Had to leave early due to the thousands of these pesky bugs.
Jun 08, 2025 · Brian ThomasTwo separate men helped me book this camping spot via phone. Both gentlemen! The Mosquitos were raising hell but that's life. Sorry bucko. Beautiful morning walk. Got lost on my way in because I felt I had better judgement than the GPS. Had Beer Barrel Polka blasting on the box. Anyhow, found my way in. You can get a site via smart phone but I did it old school. Thanks Wisconsin you sure was kind to me.
Jul 30, 2024 · Benjamin BrownellSite is pack gravel. It is level o.n the site 3 where we camped on a Class A motorhome. Has enough for 34 foot motrhome and a GMC Canyon. Has 50A elec but no water and sewer. There is watrr and dump station restrooms and showers were clean. Has to buy the vehicle permit to camp.
May 11, 2024 · Art AmorAfter seeing the reviews we were very excited about this park. Sadly, the mosquitoes were so bad our family could not go outside for a single moment. My teens could not hike, bike, or even walk to the bathroom, we had to drive them! I have never seen mosquitoes that were so bad! I really wanted to love this place as they have nice restrooms, clean showers, and friendly park staff, however until mosquitoes are under control I strongly suggest NOT staying here. Once this is under control, the campground would be quite nice.I do not think there are any full hook up sites but the stations are close by and clean.
