★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stayed for a weekend to enjoy the sights in town. The campground is definitely a stop while traveling campground right off I-70. The campground staff was very kind and helpful. The park was clean and the sites were level. The pool looked well kept but it was a little to cool and rainy to enjoy. I would stay again if in the area.
June 15 · Christina BashamThe Casey KOA lives up to the high standards that KOA sets. It is clean and very well-kept. The bathrooms and grounds were very clean there was no micro-trash (bottle caps, cigarette butts, bits of paper, etc.). There is a great fishing lake on site (no license required apparently). There is plenty of shade and a nice pool. Best of all the KOA is just about a mile north of the town of Casey, which is an awesome small town. Their claim-to-fame is their roadside attractions and World's Largest things. For example, the World's Largest Rocking Chair, Windchimes, and Pitchfork are all in Casey. I highly recommend the Casey KOA for a night or two so you can experience the "Small Town with Big Things" that is Casey, Illinois.
July 06 · David ElyWe stopped here for just one night on our way to central Indiana to visit family, but we would have loved to stay longer. Very nice park, well maintained, gravel sites, nice restroom facility. We got to see our first fireflies when the sun went down! Will definitely stay here again.
July 02 · Lori RatcliffOwner/management of this property were super rude to my boyfriend, my daughter, and I after we each individually jumped into the pool when we first got there and then were just swimming around pool for 2 minutes max. Then the male owner/management pulled up on a 4wheeler all fast and mad saying “hey I was told to tell you guys you have to get out and leave the pool you done because the signs on the ground clearly state no jumping no diving no running and it’s not there as a joke you have to leave” and we asked if he was being serious and just a bad joke and he said yes you have to leave and he sat and waited for us to get out get our belongings and walk out the pool area. My daughter was super disappointed and was so happy and excited when we got there after long day of travel and spent money to stay in cabin for cheap price too! It was a good deal and seemed quiet and perfect for what we needed on this trip. We both assumed the signs in the ground near the pool edge said no running and no diving like a lot of pools do and didn’t even pay attention or notice the no jumping? It isn’t a normal thing. Nice campground with bathrooms and shower very clean and playground but service is god awful. Won’t go again. Beautiful spot for sunrises and sunsets. Located right off the interstate in Casey, IL.
July 06 · Morgan HiteThe place is clean but inhospitable. The staff mentioned camera surveillance so often it was creepy, as were the random stop-bys on the four-wheeler. From the other negative reviews I’m under the impression that they sit in front of the monitors and zoom out the moment anyone appears as if they might step out of line. They keep the pool closed until 11 am and to prevent people from swimming before checkout. This is the only KOA so far that has made me feel genuinely unwelcome.
