Cartoogechaye Creek Campground Reviews
Called to get info b/c we just bought new camper and wanted to try it locally while we learn the ropes of having a new camper. Lady that answered was RUDE and stated that because were local, we were not welcome and this camp ground is only for retired people from Florida. Your website doesn't indicate an age restriction and not allowing local families to camp with campers could be seen as discrimination. Too bad you are the voice of a local business.
May 12, 2025 · L8YBOSSLove this campground. This family owned campground is well maintained by owners Dan and Vivian and they go out of their way to make this place special and beautiful. They’re kids and grandkids are always working and sometimes playing all around the campground, as they live here too. You can always find a family member willing to help if you need them or giving advice to make your stay is even better. We liked the looks and feel of this campground so much we purchased a park model and plan to be here 5-6 months a year during the summer season. We can sit on our front porch and see the families’ horses, ducks, and an occasional deer or two. Very quiet and beautiful setting and only 8 minutes from Franklin, NC
Nov 02, 2021 · Roger CohenMany of the residents are residents and not travelers so totally different dynamic than a travelers RV park. We are here for extended stay, which is different for us. Beautiful area and quiet, lots of shade so we are enjoying it. Bring your e-bikes and fishing rods for great mountain rides and great mountain streams. Not too far from town either for convenience. Not too many resort amenities but priced right!
Jun 07, 2022 · Rich SuggsA nice, clean simple, no frills campground. Clean well maintained showers & laundry. I was tent camping near the small pond. Frogs can get a bit loud in the evening but that's part of camping 😁. Rough weather was coming in owner came to site and offered me a unused trailer at no extra cost.
May 08, 2022 · Ro SparacioLove this place. Been going here 15 years now. They are clean, friendly and helpful. So peaceful there. Love sitting on the cabin's porch and watching the horses. The prices are great. I only stay there when I am down that way. Lots of stuff to do in the area.
