Carrol Lake Campground Reviews
Highway noise is prevalent throughout most of the campground, but there are some very nice walk in campsites offering decent privacy and lake access.Unfortunately the state forest prices this campground like a modern campground even though it lacks showers and flush toilets onsite. Nearby Buffalo Lake and Cunard Lake campgrounds cost less for the same basic amenities that Carrol Lake has.
Jun 07, 2025 · Greg KruegerExcellent camping! The host was very kind and helpful. Our tent site was a walk up but it's a very short walk to a very spacious site with a gorgeous view of the lake and our very own private access to go for a dip in the lake! There are small fish that are very curious and will swim right up to you as well. Will definitely be back!
