★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1we were very disappointed this year.. we camp back to this camping ground because last year was a blast.. this year, couldn't say the same. The campground manager who was the old gentlemen on the golf cart was not professional at all.. he kept getting mad at us for EVERYTHING we did. We washed the trucks and he had and issue with that saying it's the #1 rule... where is the rules and why aren't they posted? the next day before we left for the jambo we had our crock pot plugged in for dinner so it was ready when we got back and a tiny mini fridge for the food... that's all we had. well when we get got back we saw someone went through our stuff and unplugged EVERYTHING and moved our stuff.. come to find out it was the camping manager.. who does that.. he said we had to plugs we were allowed to use... and because of that at least $200 of food went bad.. also when we called to tel him we were coming he told the prices then we got there he charged us more.. then charged our friend $1080 TWICE on his card..... we gave him so much buisness and lets say now he lost a lot of future business in the future because we come EVERY YEAR with a group of us and we will pass the word around about how terrible our experience was this year... so sad. But the view is breathtaking
July 13 · Meggan StoutLots of old grumpy people god forbid you swim in the pool an splash around or use a water spigot at your campsite . Manager was nice at first but as soon as we left for the day he went through our campsite and unplugged our power and spoiled not only our dinner in crockpot but the $200 dollars in groceries in our fridge definitely won't be back! Thanks for ruining our weekend...
July 14 · Nathan CountermanI have been going to this campground since I was a kid and I cannot believe how much things have changed since then. And not in a good way. My dad had a permanent camper there almost my entire childhood and we have the best memories of us spending every weekend there. It was the perfect place for families and kids. Unfortunately, that is not the case anymore. It is not a family oriented place at all. Do not go there with the expectation that your kids can have fun and be kids. Most of the permanent sites, including the guy who runs it, are older and do nothing but complain about everything. They yell at the kids for just about everything. And I mean, strangers walking up to your kids and yelling at them. Or yelling from their campsites as they walk or ride their bikes by. They don’t talk to the parents, they just yell at your kids. The Facebook page they have is just complaint after complaint. And the guy who runs the place loves to play favorites. If you are a friend of his, you can basically do whatever you want. But if you’re not, he can be really nasty. It’s not ok and the owners are very hands off so this gives him free rein to do what he wants. I would love nothing more than to see this place what it once was instead of what it is now. It’s a beautiful campground with the most amazing views. In the last few years, it has changed so much. There used to always be new people up there and families and now, it’s nothing but a place for older people to go and be miserable. It’s sad. My family has been to A LOT of campgrounds over the years. My kids have been camping since they were babies and we have never had an issues at any campground except this one. If you are an outsider, or parents with kids, trust me, it won’t be to your benefit to go to this campground.
June 20 · Bamiowner and manager are rude and mean. manager likes to park behind peoples camper and listen to conversations. they will also lie and try to say your pet attacked when your pet never even left the car. we have also witnessed on several occasions the manager staring at people in their bathing suits. not very appropriate when there are alot of kids around.
July 15 · Paul ZieglerWhen we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Jeff and his wife. He showed us to our full hook up site. The campground is at the top of a rise, so the view is wonderful, as are Jeff and his missus. We have Verizon and had excellent reception. It’s a nice campground with lots of trees.
