Campground at the Falls Reviews
Thank you Jenny for a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. We had our sons and daughter in law and grandkids with us all weekend and the kids had a blast!!! Best fishing trip too. We will see you all next time! The Williams family
Jul 06, 2025 · Joy WilliamsMy favorite place on the river! Great place for families. Because this is located on the Little Sugar before emptying into the Elk, very little to no canoe traffic on the river, which means none of the partying and debauchery found on the Elk campgrounds. Great shaded spots, public restrooms are nice with showers. Creek is amazing with the falls. My kids love to ride down the falls on inner tubes. Fun for all ages. Owners and staff are all very helpful and great too.
Jul 08, 2025 · chris grantBeautiful campground in a beautiful setting! We rented cabin #1 and the Cedar House, both were very nice (see photos). The Cedar House is a great spot for large groups. The house is amazing, but bring kitchen items as it is very limited on what is offered. We also had to use our own trash bags and paper towels. The waterfall and lazy river are great areas for young children to play and the jumping rock area is a nice swimming area for older children and adults. The bathhouse is nice but nothing fancy.
Jun 12, 2023 · Pam PetersI can't express enough how wonderful this place is to visit. I'll do my best on this breakdown of staff and accommodations. There's Jen 1 and Jen "dubs." Jen 1 manages the place with a Midas touch. You'll never see a dirty cabin, an unattended bathroom, or a lack of attention to any other detail that will make your stay pleasant. Jen 2 is a master of the office. With a smile on her face you'll get checked in with zero resistance.Rhonda and Mark own the place. That's a dynamic duo that goals are made of. They run this place seamlessly and together. You can tell Rhonda is the "momma bear" and Mark is really a civil engineer. This place exists where the upper and lower elk meet. The amount of work it requires for this place to stay in the pristine shape it is CONSTANTLY in, is mind-blowing.Also, Decklan is a little badass. Let that kid drive a cart, all day! He's great at hospitality. My hat is constantly off to the staff and grounds management. This is my 4th time visiting and I have yet to be disappointed.Don't miss out on the fishing either. There's about 1/4 mile between your camp and where people are allowed to put in to float. There's a whole universe in between. Just saying.
Jul 08, 2024 · Joshua BradshawLoved this campground! Family friendly! No area near the falls that I felt was unsafe for my children Ages 4 and 7. They loved the lazy river. Thankful for the flushing toilets! River was clean. Front office had ice which was super convenient. Will be returning!
