Instead, their pricing and financial assistance are structured around their mission and the scouting program. Key aspects related to cost and accessibility include:
Program Fees for Scouts: The fees for attending summer camp and other programs are set to cover the costs of staffing, food, activities, and facility maintenance. These fees are generally communicated directly through the Mayflower Council, Boy Scouts of America, or through individual Scout troops.
Financial Aid and Scholarships: Boy Scouts of America councils often have financial assistance programs or "camperships" available for Scouts whose families may need support to cover camp fees. This ensures that participation is accessible regardless of financial circumstances. Families should inquire through their local troop or the Mayflower Council directly about available aid.
Unit Discounts/Incentives: Sometimes, Scouting councils offer incentives for troops that bring a certain number of participants or for early registration, though these are internal to the scouting system rather than public promotions.
Membership-Based Access: Access to Camp Squanto's core programs is tied to membership in the Boy Scouts of America, and participation in their various troops and packs.
For detailed information on current program fees, registration deadlines, and any available financial assistance, families should consult the Mayflower Council, Boy Scouts of America website, or contact their local Boy Scout troop leader. May 04, 2025 · James HogrellEvery time I come to Squanto, I always have a great time. Really the best camp for Boy Scouts, with such a great range of merit badge options and friendly staff to teach them. I’ll come back as long as I can. GO TROOP 89!!

Aug 04, 2023 · George NigroThis is a great scout camp. But the important part of this review is that you can't trust Google maps (2023) to get you there. There are too many named but gated forest access roads that look, to the algorithm, to be a shorter route. But can't be used. Check the route before going. You must enter through the state forest via upper college pond Rd.
