Camp Lackawanna Reviews
I have visited a few times and spent the night at least twice. The site is just stunning and there is a lot to explore. The riverfront along the Susquehanna is tranquil and lovely. The rustic camp facilities are charming and I slept well. I have met a few of their staff and they work really hard for their guests. Highly recommend.
Feb 06, 2023 · Tommy CampbellIf you want to send your kids to summer camp or go on retreat to a place secluded in the quiet of the mountains, this is your spot! Nestled along the Susquehanna River and in the Endless Mountains, the camp staff works really hard to make it a great experience for all the guests. And I've never had a bad meal here at the camp.
Nov 02, 2023 · Sharan KnoellOne of the most stunning places I've had the chance to visit. The location is beautiful! Being located on a bend on the Susquehanna river, it is easily accessible for canoeing and kayaking. The campgrounds are well maintained and the trails leading from the summer camp area into the nature preserve are beautiful and the trails are well maintained. The summer camp programming is very well structured and the staff are wonderful and work well with each child's specific needs. I would recommend this camp for the location alone, but the wonderful staff and programming is a bonus!
