Camp Karma Reviews
Excellent small camp ground. Some sites are close together, perfect for a larger group, some are a little more isolated. Not that an isolated camp was needed as we were the only visitors much of our stay. The hosts are wonderful people who leave you to enjoy your stay, unlike a recent visit to a certain lake campground where the manager was stopping by so often my wife saw him more than me.It's often very quiet the river bends to wrap around most of the camp sites. The woods are just the right thick for shade and privacy without being unnavigable. Wildlife is abundant. We have had a racoon prowling about but with dogs in camp it has stayed at bay. There have been a couple deer walk by just a few steps away, thankfully those same dogs are well trained to not alert on a non threat. The bath house is excellent! Each bathroom is just right to be both roomy and home like cozy while still being built very durable. It's a good thing they are so great too as its relates to the only problem but makes up for it so well I couldn't ding a star down. The only flaw is the outhouses are poorly designed and far too cramped. When I close the door my nose is about touching it and my knees have nowhere to go to bend and sit so I would have to fall back, so they were not used.
Jun 07, 2025 · Jason LacyNew owners. Very nice people. We camped this past weekend for Bedford graduation. Showers are nice and private. Good camping spot for our 21 ft rv, truck and van. Fire wood brought to our camp site.
May 27, 2025 · Kathy HelsingerOwner was really friendly and helpful. They made our stay as comfortable as possible and the lots have everything you could need for time away in nature. Beautiful environment and will definitely be going back again!
Apr 20, 2025 · Lynnette RussellMy absolute favorite campground! The river is gorgeous, perfect for swimming and fishing. There are some nice sized fish in the pond too. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The management is wonderful, very personable and friendly. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this campground is perfect.
Aug 29, 2024 · Karen SchmittI chose this place due to the reviews and photos posted but when we got there it was nothing like it was described. Camp sites are super tight together within 10 feet of eachother it seems and they're very tiny camp spots. Also the river is murky and very hard to get to if you have bad knees like me or small children it is a very steep incline just to get to the water. Very disappointing. I stayed about 4 hours before leaving cause it just wasn't what was portrayed in these reviews.
