They are actively working to restore the property, with community support helping their efforts.

Husband and I did a quick little get away for a few nights. Beautiful riverside and plenty of room to fish. They are still in the process of recovering from Helene, but don't let that detour you from checking them out. The two open sites are specious and you have plenty of room for your own privacy if that's what you prefer. Pet friendly and our dogs enjoyed having the space to get around that they wouldn't have at a typical campground. Host was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed hearing his stories about the property and the family growing up there. We will definitely be coming back!
Apr 30, 2025 · Alison KrissCamped here with a few buddies for one night. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had the best stay possible. Easy access to to the river and surrounded by nature. A great place to stay and kayak down to the next boat takeout. Definitely will stay again!
Sep 21, 2024 · William SplawnIf you’re thinking about coming here it’s 100% worth it. It is one of the prettiest campsites I’ve seen in a while, especially the river front site. I saw lots of wildlife, weather was perfect, lots of room for my dog to run. The man that helped me was very nice, very easy to talk to, and very accommodating.

If you love the sound of crickets chirping at night, river flowing, and small drops of rain on our tent; this is the place to be !!!! Easy access, great ownership ( very helpful) and all the time to relax you need.
Sep 19, 2024 · jerome millerThis campground is awesome. Tent only 3 nice sites. Two are near the water and the other is set back in the woods. Very family friendly and plenty to do for the kids. Fire pits and wood on sites are clean. Picnic bench at each site. Good add to the Glen Alpine are. I would highly recommend this site.Walker's
