Burchfield Branch Park Reviews
We stayed at campsite 24, it was perfect for our 8 person tent & had enough for our 2 year old son to run around. Great shade & very peaceful especially with creek being right beside us. This campground was always a family favorite when I was growing up, I love being able to share memories with my own little family now.

Jan 18, 2025 · Troy DavisGREAT PLACE to GET away. No Cell or internet. The only complaint is the size of the space. if the banister was not there, we could have parked our 42' 5th wheel with no issue. We had to finagle the banister between the steps and the slide. See pictures. Spot #5
Oct 22, 2024 · Bill BeharSwimming is only 3 foot at beach , no real bath house, no showers , no hot water. Don't drink the water it from the river and looks like tea in color.Don't think because u get a disabled spot your going to be by bathroom that's a joke / copper head snake's are at edge of decking at waters edge very bad seen like 7 . One was big around as my arm .Not a good idea for young kids . But nice big fish everywhere you look . There was a guy walking around the bathrooms after dark , Watched him 4 hours. Not Kool . No trash cans around camp site you must take your trash out to main dumpster at dump station. The bugs are bad and bite like crazy. Your going to need a can of off . Over all it was a nice trip because it was quite and I got to relax and read as I enjoyed my coffee. Over at play ground and table with tops watch out for the spider's there bad & every where above your head.
Jun 20, 2025 · Pamela NelsonNice and quiet! We didn't have cell service and it was a 30 minute drive to the store for supplies. The park was so nice and the people that host here are awesome. It was absolutely beautiful. We also enjoyed watching the huge barges come by each day. We stayed 3 weeks here.
