Bumble Bee RV Park & Campground Reviews
The staff was friendly and available. The domes have a nice skylight, decent shower and kitchen. Beautiful loft to enhance the experience. The pictures were a good reflection of what we got. There are only 7 domes that were very close to each other so very little privacy. The trail is only about a quarter mile. The bed was comfortable but the blanket was not clean. Kitchen and bathroom appeared clean but with the blanket not being clean we questioned that. Activities were about 20 minutes away. Overall it was a good experience.
Jun 07, 2025 · Sophia FergusonI am planning to try different experiences by staying in Dome, expecting to wake up with extraordinary views in private. But in beehives dome, i didn't get a private vibe because it is only that much of an area with seven dome. I got a dead cockroach at loft, i think they dont even mop or disinfect the dome after the previous renter. And have very short trails. If you want to have more fun such as beach or lake you have to drive for 10 to 15 minutes. Didn't get much anything with that much of the price.. kinda pricey for me.
May 27, 2025 · Funny WidjajaWe camped there with our travel trailer. Very clean, quiet, the host was great, amazing wifi, Campground feel as opposed to parking lot feel. We were visiting Deep Creek so location was OK.
May 11, 2025 · Dennis McLaughlinI was pleasantly surprised with this adorable campground. My family and I stayed here for the 4th of July holiday in our RV. We received the red carpet from the manager during our stay that made our family's visit one to remember. The bath house was very clean and well maintained. My husband and son visited the game room, which they said was very affordable, comfortable, and nice and cool with the A/C. There was plenty of overflow parking near our site for guests and neighbors. The nearby county airport was fairly quiet, too, with only a few small planes flying overhead one day out of the five we were there. The location was perfect, being only 5-10 minutes from Wisp resort, shopping, restaurants, and 16 minutes to Deep Creek Lake State Park. The campground is also nestled into the woods, which made it feel secluded, private, and natural. We will definitely be back!
Jul 11, 2024 · Kara CadenheadWe had a good stay for our mini vaca. Bill was very helpful and friendly as the manager there and made sure your stay was comfortable. Another camper negligently hit the water pedestal shutting down water to the whole campground, but they were quick to address the issue and had the water on in a few hrs after the accident. Our spot was a little tight from what we're used too but overall we had a good experience. The campground is far enough away from the traffic of the lake for seclusion. We will return again.
