Stayed in our trailer for 3 nights. Campground is clean and well kept. Restrooms were clean and showers worked good. Plenty of hot water. Trail to the beach is kinda long for older folks and deep sand in areas but the beach was great when we got there. Nice place, we enjoyed our time there. - James Smith

Location and Accessibility

Bullards Beach State Park Campground is ideally located at Bandon, OR 97411, USA, approximately two miles north of the charming coastal town of Bandon. Situated at the mouth of the Coquille River, the park offers a unique blend of river and ocean access, making it a versatile destination for water activities.

Accessibility to the campground is straightforward via US Highway 101, which is the main artery along the Oregon Coast. While Highway 101 itself can have narrow and winding sections, the park entrance is well-marked. Once inside the park, the campground roads are paved, providing smooth access for all types of vehicles, including large RVs and trailers up to 63 feet in length. The campground is designed with three large loops (A, B, and C), ensuring good navigability. Loops A and B are older, more forested, and offer ample shade and a sense of privacy, while the newer C loop is slightly more open and sunnier. Despite being about a mile from the actual beach, a well-maintained paved bike and walking path directly connects the campground to the stunning coastline and the Coquille River Lighthouse, making beach access convenient for most visitors, though it might be a bit long for older individuals or those with mobility challenges due to some deep sand sections on the beach trail itself.
