Bull Creek Peninsula Recreation Area Reviews
I love this campground as it is nearly free, and if we wish to pay for anything, then I would highly recommend the Annual State Park Pass costing just $40 per year. This offers people a temporary pass right away. Upon our entry to Bull Creek Penensula, There is an empty Park Shack, open all day, or at least until 10 PM CDT. My point is that everything is automated at the Electronic Machine that literally prints out temporary passes to anyone with a debit or credit card handy; and we came in and did exactly that, purchased the Annual Parks Pass which will allow access to most of the State and BLM Parks all across the country(including Oklahoma State). Our temporary Pass is good for 14 days, allowing us to register online with the authorization code on the Reciept. Once registered, the customer recieves the Annual Park Pass via USPS, either at their PO Box as we did, or at their place of residence. As for Internet and phone services, this Park does allow 4G and 5G to creep through, however, there are some spots in the Park where the signal is diminished greatly. AT&T, Metro PCS, and T-Mobile are the primary services, and Verizon works well, but only at specific areas in this Park. As for electricity, sewer, and water, there are public bathrooms, and dump locations, but I haven't noticed electricity access. Either way, I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and well maintained campground. Anyone wanting to stay long term, this is a great place to be; and you would do well to bring supplies such as garbage bags, water, food, and for some, and way to power you're electronic devices. Campfires and grills are everywhere here, as are Park Benches and gravel drive-ways for anyone seeking a place to back a travel trailer or fithwheel into. Tent camping is common practice around here, and there are plenty of places to fish, swim, jog, hike, or to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the State. I love the clear skies at night, and the clean air here. Definitely 5 stars, and an honest review(sorry so long lol). ..☆☆☆☆☆
