### Promotions or Special Offers
As a Maine State Park Campground, Bradbury Mountain State Park Campground operates under the pricing and policies set by the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands. While it may not offer frequent, short-term promotional "deals" like private campgrounds, it provides consistent value and specific discounts that are highly beneficial for Maine residents. Here's what locals can typically expect:
Maine Resident vs. Non-Resident Rates: Maine State Parks generally offer significantly lower camping rates for Maine residents compared to out-of-state visitors. This is the primary "special offer" for locals, making outdoor recreation more affordable for those who call Maine home. For example, a non-resident rate might be $27.50-$35/night, while residents would pay less.
Maine State Park Pass: For frequent visitors to Maine State Parks, an annual State Park Pass is an excellent investment. While this is primarily for day-use fees, it can indirectly offer value by encouraging more visits to state parks, including Bradbury Mountain, and potentially simplifying entry.
Off-Season & Mid-Week Value: Although not an advertised "promotion," camping during the shoulder seasons (spring and fall) or mid-week often means fewer crowds and a more tranquil experience, sometimes at slightly lower rates (though state park rates are usually consistent throughout the high season). As one reviewer noted, going "mid-week" meant it wasn't super busy, and another mentioned a "very quiet time of year."
Group Site Reservations: For larger gatherings, the availability of group campsites (with a $100 nonrefundable reservation fee for groups) offers a structured and cost-effective way for local groups to camp together.
To confirm current pricing, resident discounts, and specific reservation policies, Maine residents should always consult the official Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands website or contact Bradbury Mountain State Park Campground directly. The value for locals primarily lies in the lower resident rates and the overall quality and accessibility of a well-maintained state park facility.

Bradbury Mountain State Park Campground Reviews
This campground was just what I was looking for- peaceful and simple. There were a good amount of sites available to choose from. Rangers were always close by checking on things. For a solo female far from home, I felt safe. Showers were hot and clean, there was a little kitchen area with things you could borrow (frying pans, cups, etc.) bathroom was a 20-second walk. Site had a sturdy picnic table, water spigot and fire pit. $5 bundles of wood were available for purchase, you just had to ask a ranger. The actual state park was right across the street, and cell service was fine. You can hear the traffic from the road but it’s just white noise, I slept great. Also could hear cows mooing in the distance at 2am but it wasn’t bothersome, just funny. Would come back!
Oct 07, 2024 · Claire FisherVery quiet time of year Love it Very clean and the park crew were great.Totally enjoyed our get-a-way
Jun 01, 2025 · Diana ParsonsI love this park for both hiking and camping. While many of the trails are maintained for bikes, my early morning hikes have never been endangered by riders, and I, in fact, usually only see other hikers. The camp ground hosts maintain an awesome hut full of convenience items, and the hosts themselves have been very friendly. The woods hiked through are a mix of wetlands and mostly hardwood highlands. Trails, both wide and single track, are all well maintained.
May 20, 2024 · Brett BinnsWe arrived from New Jersey in our motorhome with two dogs and no idea where we were staying. Found the campground rather accidentally. It was a great place to spend two nights. We didn't need the community kitchen, but I love the idea of that! Staff and Rangers were all so very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine.
