Boy Scouts of America, Bear Creek Scout Reservation

Campground, Non-profit organization ★4.0

I came to this camp multiple times in the mid 80's. A wonderful place to experience the outdoors. Even getting flooded and stranded in 1987 was quite the exhilarating experience. The Henry Miller Cave was really cool. I earned many merit badges during my stays and learned so much...from canoeing, to making and sleeping in a wild made shelter, to firearm safety. From the sounds of it, the camp seems to have softened quite a bit but I imagine it still is a great place to learn. It would be nice to tour the camp again. - L B
