Black Creek Scout Reservation Reviews
The Statesboro High JROTC cadets spent one week at the Black Creek Scout Reserve. The kids had the most wonderful time during the entire time in the heat rain storm. They were able to experience fishing, swimming, archery, shooting BBs, sling shot, rappelling and confidence courses. They spent more time outside in one week than in their entire life. The kids forgot all about cell phones and electronics and slept in tents. The Black Creek staff is amazing with support food and anything that needed to be fixed or anything we needed. It was an amazing time for all the kids they left happy and fulfilled.
Jun 18, 2025 · Eric HeffnerLove this place! Our home camp where all the fun happens whether it's the climbing wall, shooting sports, making scout crafts, firing up the Dutch ovens, or the 30ft campfire on a late Saturday night with the sunset in the background. BCSR will always have a spot in our scout's heart.
May 23, 2025 · CubScout Pack650Black Creek will forever be my favorite summer camp. I’ve gone there twice and this summer will make my third time going there. They have some really fun classes, great food, amazing campgrounds, a beautiful lake, fun campfires, and most importantly the staff there is the best. I would definitely recommend going there.
Feb 09, 2023 · Shane SchallerBlack Creek Scout Reservation is absolutely beautiful and well run. Ranger Jacob was very welcoming and Pack 295 out of Guyton GA had a wonderful time on the BB gun and Archery Ranges as well as swimming in Eagle lake with some of the boys taking/passing their swim test. The boys also participated in a community cleanup project and filled up a large trailer with pinecones and limbs.
