★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely the best place to go camping. Not allowed to burn fires at this moment. The little chilly at night but not too bad. And a couple minutes drive away from water where you can rent boats kayaks and paddle boards. You just drive down pick your own spot and just park. No reservation needed. Highly suggest this place
June 17 · Alicia JacobsonCamp host Manny was friendly and knowledgeable about the area! Campground was a quick drive to Black Canyon Lake, which had lots of wild horses and deer. Also not very far from Willow Springs Lake.Very quiet campground and spots were well kept and not too close to other campers.
July 15 · Katelyn RedlinNot heavily used as far as we could tell. We got there Thursday and there was one other campsite in use. The sites on the south of the road passed the bathrooms were on flatter ground and were more open vs the ones on the north side. We had spots 11 and 12 and it was a walk to get to the bathroom, as far as I know, there is only the 1 in the loop. The camp host was pleasant and we didn't have any issues. There's trash service and potable water by the camp host.
June 18 · Antoinette ShippleyIt was a beautiful spot! Peaceful and fun. Close to the lake and wild horses. We had skunks visit each night, which was usually fine. We had a great time while there. Bob, our camp host, stopped by multiple time a day to make sure we had what we needed and that we were following all the campsite rules. He does a good job keeping the campground maintained. We were not permitted to cut firewood and leave it for the next guests, but it is for sale at the entrance.
July 03 · Tacie WrightBeautiful camping/hiking spot. Loved seeing the wild horses. Will definitely be back! The weather was perfect this time of year (June) it was a little windy when we were packing up to leave. It was nice that they had wood available at the camp host site we didn’t bring our own because we weren’t sure if we could have a campfire. The camp site host was super nice, attentive and helpful.
