March 25 · 老LaoxiWe spent a night here as we were visiting the Catwalk, which is a short drive up the road and we didn’t want to drive a long distance after a long hike. The campground was nicely shaded and all spots were mostly level. The campground is by a highway so traffic during the day was a little noisy but over night after about 9pm it was very quiet except for an occasional car so we slept pretty comfortable.
May 05 · David WilkinsBeen coming here for a few years now, always been pleasant (but hot this last time)Cocoa's back, looking well..other campers here, and #6 doesn't have the privacy I had at #3 but has better late day shade
October 07 · David ShafferSo, after reading reviews, we weren't expecting much. But this is a great spot for free, relaxed, time camping. Pit toilet only, but that works great for us. Sites were comfortable, with tables and a fire pit, and were relatively level. A scattering of trees as well, giving some shade.
April 23 · Mark KannapelNondescript little free campground. Pretty clean pit toilet. Closest free campground to the Catwalk. It's very close to the Catwalk. When I stayed, javelinas came out when the sun went down. They came for the trash someone left in the firepit. They wanted the black bananas. I got in my van and closed the doors. I don't mess with javelinas.
