Big Rock Campground & Store Reviews
Missy and Josh are awesome hosts! The campground is clean and well run. We can't wait to see what the new owners have in store moving forward. We will definitely be back!
Jul 31, 2024 · Katie ByersClean place, everything works as it should. The owners are great!!! Helping you get in and out of the sites. Explain everything to hook up.They try to accommodate whatever you need. Pet friendly. ATVing from your site to trail!! Only thing is some big truck noise now and then. But after a day of riding I can sleep through anything. Planning on coming again in the fall.
Jun 18, 2021 · Schwaggs MessierWe have friends with a seasonal site here. We came up to visit and stayed three nights on our own site with our popup. It was our first time here. We were very impressed. The campground, bathrooms and pool were all immaculate. There is also a small pond where the kids could catch frogs. They loved that! Small campground, bikes not needed. The owners are very friendly! Most people who stay here have ATV's because you can access the trials right from the campground, but everyone is very safe and respectful so you aren't bothered by them at all. You are not supposed to drive around the campground with them or start them before 9am in the morning. Def will stay here again!
Aug 13, 2018 · Jamie HaubnerFriendly and nice small campground. The hook up sites next too pond are nice but loud do to the traffic from route 3 right next too them. Need more bushes or trees to help keep traffic noise down. Very few campsites for overnight mostly all seasonal. Direct trail access for ohrv was nice. Bathrooms closed due to covid so have to shower in camper after rides which isn't so great and fills up great tank fast and no sewer hook up on sites for weekenders.
Aug 30, 2020 · Joe PGreat Place to Camp! We stayed at this Big Rock Campground twice in 2016 and had an awesome time. My family and I are city folks from New York City so this was a great place to relax and test out our new used toy hauler RV. The camp was used as a primary location to access the Ride The Wilds trail system of NH. This place has a clean pool and the bathrooms (especially the main baths), were in like brand new condition, very clean, well maintained and I felt comfortable there. Overall, the property seemed to be nicely organized and patrons of this campground followed the "quiet time" rules so it was very peaceful and I felt somewhat safe there. The owners Kim and Gary were friendly and accommodating with our needs. The RV sites had full hookups with good water pressure and the two cabins that I saw look very nice as well. Wifi and Verizon 4G signal was unable to reach my RV site but I was however able to get wifi near the camp office. My family and I will return and vacation here repeatedly throughout the years.
