Big Island Campground Reviews
A great one night winter camp out!! Great walking /cross country skiing trails. Electric hook up. Late January bathrooms closed but pit toilets clean . Great big trees! Spaced out camp spots. Picnic tables, fire ring
Jan 28, 2024 · David KlossCampground has nice big trees, and the sites are well spaced out. The vault toilets are clean and smell like coconut.
Apr 08, 2023 · Russell MillesI hesitate to give any stats. I'll give it one because it's quiet. Worst. Campground. Ever. $51 for electric only back in gravel pad. Not very level. At reservation I was told there were water spigots to fill fresh water tanks near the site but they are just open pipes. You cannot fill from them because you can't connect a hose to them. I've been all over the US and literally NEVER seen so many mesquitoes and spiders. Wood is higher here than I've ever paid anywhere, not that i could have enjoyed being out side anyway. The one good thing.. check out isn't till 4pm... but who would want to be here?
May 31, 2024 · Becky HoughtonBeautiful campground in a beautiful park. Good nightly rates and very kind camp host!We made the reservation over the phone and it was easy and convenient. The site we stayed in overnight in a tent was spacious and level, with a soft mulch spot we set up on. There was a fire ring and picnic table available at our site.We were right next to the bathhouse that had many big, clean shower rooms and nice clean bathrooms. Everyone was quiet and respectful, and we had a lovely night camping!
