Big Elk Floats & Camping is conveniently located at 5029 S Business, Hwy 71, Pineville, MO 64856, USA. This address places it in the southwestern corner of Missouri, nestled within the beautiful Ozark region. Pineville is a charming community, and its location makes Big Elk Floats & Camping easily accessible for visitors traveling from various parts of Missouri, as well as from neighboring states like Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
The facility's direct access from S Business Hwy 71 (which is essentially a local segment of the former U.S. Route 71, now largely supplanted by Interstate 49) ensures straightforward navigation. This prime riverside spot eliminates the need for extensive travel once you've arrived, allowing visitors to maximize their time enjoying the natural surroundings. Whether you're driving in for a day of floating or setting up camp for a week, the location and accessibility of Big Elk Floats & Camping contribute significantly to its appeal.

Big Elk Floats & Camping Reviews
I can’t recommend this place enough! The people who work there are amazing and always able to help! And the facility is so nice!We were doing the 4 mile float that day. We needed help with our paddle boards and the owner took time to help us. Our paddle board actually exploded after we aired it up, but the owner got us all set up with one of theirs and some extra rafts. He took the time to help and that meant a lot!! We had 5 kids with us and we needed that extra hand that day!We have been out to Big Elk Float and Lodge for years now. The staff is amazing, the camp grounds are super clean, huge shade trees in every spot, the bugs are very minimal in camp ground sites, and they have a great spot to access the river because it’s literally right by the campground. The campground itself is next to a great spot in the river because it’s right by a fork in the river. So if you wanted to explore more of the river, but you don’t want to do the float trip experience, you could walk up that area as well. All in all our float experience for the day started off pretty grim, but the owner/ staff there made it a sweet summer memory!
Jul 04, 2025 · Megan TeboThis place is the place to be whether day, tent, rv, or cabin camping. Our rv site was perfectly level. Nice large trees and right on the Big Elk River and Big Sugar Creek. Great camp store with friendly staff. Not to mention the float and fishing opportunities. Fantastic place if your camping with kids. If you don't camp then start just so you can come here.
