Big Bear's RV Park Reviews
Great quiet spots on the creek. Owner was friendly and helpful with things to do in the area. Easy access to creek even if you don’t score a creekside spot (only 5-6). We will be back!
Apr 30, 2025 · Mark GillilandWe just spent 5 nights here. Bryan the owner was so nice. Our space was creekside, large, gravel with electric, water and sewer. Our doodle loved playing in the fields. Very quiet and relaxing. Close to downtown Bryson City. We were able to day trips to Cherokee, Maggie Valley and we rode the Great Smoky Mtn Railroad! We will definitely be back.
May 14, 2024 · Mary LillyWe just spent a lovely week here and can’t say enough about it.Our site backed onto the river which made for a wonderfully peaceful setting. The sites are nice and you’re not on top of your neighbors like you are in so many RV parks these days. They even have pretty stone fire pits at each site. Brian, the owner, was very kind and offered suggestions on places to see and things to do in the area. There’s so much here you couldn’t possibly see it all in a mere week.Big Bear is centrally located to just about anything you could want to do from rafting and tubing to shopping, the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad, the National Park, Gatlinburg and so much more. You honestly couldn’t pick a better place to call home for a spell. We will definitely be back and we can’t wait!PS….the river shot below was taken in the river behind us. So beautiful!
Sep 19, 2024 · Jilly MorrisonMy husband and I was there just before memorial weekend and it was amazing the best thing is it’s clean and relaxing and the sound of the creek was very relaxing and the owner was very helpful and friendly and they never bothered you just know I’ll be going back here may 2025 the best
May 25, 2025 · Fox-E LadyFantastic campground!!!! Owner is super nice and helpful. The campground is very neat, clean, well taken care of and a lot of nice area for walking your pets. We brought our toy hauler and our motorcycles. We planned to stay 3 weeks but liked it so well we ended up staying a month The campsites are big and nicely graveled. Each site has a nice picnic table and fire pit. The owner might sell you some firewood. We didn’t get a site right on the river but every site in the campground is close and just a short walk to the water for fly fishing, tubing or just hanging out. You can rent tubes from the owner. We were About 5 min drive to/from Bryson City and about 10 min to/from National Forest and nice waterfall paths for hiking. We felt very centrally located for all of the awesome motorcycle rides, and all of the things we wanted to do around the area. Highly recommend this campground and we plan to be back next year and every summer thereafter!!!!
