Location and Accessibility
Bergeron's On-Bayou Campground is strategically located at 4876 Zach Rd, Jarreau, LA 70749, USA. This address places it in Pointe Coupee Parish, a rural area known for its bayous and agricultural landscapes, yet it remains remarkably accessible to key areas in Louisiana. Jarreau itself is a small community, but the campground's proximity to major routes allows for relatively easy travel to larger towns and industrial areas. For instance, it's a manageable drive from Baton Rouge, making it a viable option for those working shutdowns or projects in the greater Capital Region. The benefit of having gas on-site cannot be overstated in this area, as reviewers note that the next fuel point can be a 5-10 minute drive away, depending on direction. This convenience is a significant advantage for RVers and travelers. Access to the campground typically involves navigating local roads, which are generally well-maintained. The address on Zach Road suggests a setting that's slightly off the main thoroughfares, contributing to a sense of calm while still being very practical for daily needs. This blend of rural charm and functional accessibility makes Bergeron's On-Bayou Campground a smart choice for locals who value convenience during their travels or extended stays.

Bergeron's On-Bayou Campground Reviews
The RV park is reasonable and welcoming if you have a full accommodating RV. There is one 'Cabin', more 'mobile home' then cabin, for rent and it serves its purpose for those working shutdowns. The Country Store, Bar & Grill, Customer Service & gas are big plus in my book. The on site store has what you need to get a meal done or just order out via the Bar & Grill. The people who run the place are friendly and helpful. Having gas on site is a big boon, 5-10 min drive depending which way you go for the next fuel point. Could use some other facilities, but my biggest upset is the laundry point on site. Undersized and under pressured tank for the washers, found out from a local that they have use a hose to fill the 1/2 washers that need them. Dryers running on the weak side, took me more then three runs to get my clothes dry and had to run out to get more quarters.Overall it is a nice, decent spot that's close enough to work. Good food and drinks with friendly folks. It checked most of my boxes while staying out here. Would I stay here again yes for work related purposes.

Aug 08, 2024 · Phillip Lemoine Jr.Great friendly people. Beautiful Hospitality. Mr. Don and crew made me feel right at home. Great restaurant and great store just like a grocery store. They have their own specialty meats. It's great!! Propane, gas, and diesel all on-site. What else could you ask for? Greatly appreciated
Jul 04, 2023 · K NicholsThis place has a little bit of everything everything from Crown Royal to bubblegum really they think of all the little odd things that you may have forgotten. I bet they even have cocktail sauce lol it’s awesome and the campground is great. This is a campground of RVs for people coming to fish or work, but it still set up really nice as a place to eat a place to fish and it’s a nice place even have they even have a bar.
Oct 02, 2024 · Catherine Victoria DiBenedettoNice lakeside restaurant. Bar atmosphere inside but they have a covered patio with ample seating and an enclosed porch overlooking the lake. The service was quick and the food was delicious. They have a wide array of drinks, including Daiquiris. I had a ham and cheese sub, which they call a Po'boy. Highly recommend!
