Ber-Wa-Ga-Na Campgrounds Reviews
We have been there 3 times. The first wasn't to bad. The other 2 we were buried in mud and water. The office actually told my son if you have 4 wheel you will have to use it in get into your site. I definitely think they need to put money into their park. The bridge over the water is rotted and the rails are ready to fall off. And they need to fill up their site so your not in mud and water.
Jun 22, 2025 · Deonna ByrnesStay here twice a year, a great family oriented camp ground. Amenities are always in good shape. Haven’t been swimming but always see kids at lake. Spacious playgrounds.Halloween camping is amazing! The haunted trail is a great time!
May 30, 2025 · Avery JohnsonThe cabins were super cute! Has a queen bed, bunk beds and a futon for sleeping! Make sure you bring your own bedding. Also have a fridge microwave and table with 4 chairs! 2 outdoor chairs were provided and brooms for cleaning! Also has A/C and a fire place for heat! There is a port-a-poty to use but the campground bathrooms and showers are just a short walk away!
Jun 28, 2025 · Amy ShireyOur campsite was under water. We were led to the site by someone who jumped off his golf cart and plowed thru the water to wave us in. As we turned the corner and made the move to put in reverse, discovered he had parked his cart in the road and our camper side swiped it. Gash in the side of our camper. Brand new, first camping trip for us with it. He went and moved the cart and started waving us on to the site. As we started into Reverse, he screamed to us, “Put It In 4 WHEEL DRIVE!!” Another worker came running up and took over, parking us in at a slight angle so our steps were over a little bit dryer of an area. Had we known where they were placing us, I wish we would have insisted we view the site before we threw our hard-earned money at them for 2 additional nights. We would only have been out $40 which we placed as deposit. Neighboring campers had their electrical hookups laying in water and draped over picnic tables. This review unfortunately is being written as a negative review is mostly due to the dismissive office staff personnel. Our stay started on a Friday and it was Sunday late afternoon before there was a dry spot to sit outside and have a campfire. Even if a site visit would have been made, to check on our hook-ups and just plain common courtesy knowing our outdoor weekend had us traipsing through thick mud and water instead of enjoying what we paid for.
