Bennies Beach Campground

8399 Brocks Gap Rd, Broadway, VA 22815, USA

4.0
A nice, quiet campground. The owner and his wife are friendly and personable. We've stayed here many times. Our toddler loved the playground and the river access is a bonus. There is no beach, but plenty of room to play in the river. The bathhouse is clean and there's always hot water. There is a dump station and each RV spot has water and electric hookups. Each RV spot has a fire ring. Tent campers can set up where they please and have access to firewood and fire rings. The fire rings do not have grills. There are a few picnic tables spread throughout the campground, but not 1 per site.I've seen some reviews complaining about the $50/night fee. The owners do not want a party atmosphere and the rates for FT/long term campers are much more reasonable. They hope by having a high nightly rate to keep the campground peaceful. Most campers at Bennie's are FT. It really is peaceful. - Keturah Whetzel
