Beaver Pond Campground at Bear Brook State Park Reviews
Has to be 1 of my favorite campgrounds, great fishing with multiple ponds, and tons of trails to explore. bathrooms are always kept up with very well. And lots of wild life to see. Have had porcupines wondering the campsite at night looking for food so make sure to keep everything put away and bring your trash to the dumpsters before bed. Haven’t had any issues with animals All in all it’s a awesome camp ground and forest to enjoy
Jun 05, 2024 · Hunter EatonStayed at Lot 95, beautiful big lot in between 2 lakes. Quiet & a nice distance away from other sites. There is some cell service had 2 out of 4 bars. The camp store is GREAT & has every last minute thing you'd need. Ice, wood, bug spray, water tubes, coffee mugs, sweatshirts/sweatpants, bug spray, batteries, allergy medicine, coffee & creamer, marshmallows, even dog treats & energy drinks. The staff are super friendly & host events like a night star walk & big bonfire on the baseball field & even an animal pelt showing set-up in front of the camp store. There are big bathrooms; 4 toilets on each side are separated from the shower side. The showers are roomy closed door rooms with wall hooks, 100% privacy & run on quarters $1.00 for 5 minutes, $1.25 for 6 1/4 minutes, $1.50 for 7 1/2 minutes, $1.75 for 8 3/4 minutes. Outdoor wash station on the side of the bathrooms 👍🏼. The recycling center this year is still closed from covid so all trash combines into the red dumpsters. Lots of trees on sites for hammocks. When we set up it was raining, some sites were a bit flooded but not ours. There is a BIG playground as well as a picnic area. 10 out 10 would come back.
Sep 23, 2022 · Deanna Calvacca (PumpkinPoet)We love camping here. The sites are clean, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. There's a rope swing on the west side of the pond that's great fun for pre-teens or older
Aug 20, 2023 · Brian Lpart of bear brook state park. $35/ night for 2 adults. $10 extra/ adult, max 4 adults/ site & 2 cars.the site was good size. we booked the one close to the pond and showers. Clean toilet and showers. Also, shower was free when we stayed there.no dogs allowed on the beach. T-mobile signal was great, no signal for Verizon.
Jun 28, 2024 · ZahraThe campground is incredibly expansive, and there's quite a lot to see! It's beautiful to walk around the pond late in the evening as you can hear the frogs croak and see tons of stars. Several campers had telescopes set up watching the stars. The overall vibe of the place was family friendly. The sites retain some amount of privacy from other campsites, but it really depends on the site. Some were fairly close to each other with little to no tree cover in-between. The bathrooms and showers were clean! But if you plan on taking a shower, bring some quarters as the showers are coin operated. a few quarters gets you 5 minutes, and every quarter after gives you extra time. The park ranger was incredibly helpful, even very late at night.
