Location and Accessibility
Beaver Creek Campground is situated at Forest Rd 411, St Charles, ID 83272, USA. This location places it within the vast and breathtaking Caribou-Targhee National Forest, offering a true taste of mountain and forest camping. The approach to the campground, however, is a notable aspect of the journey. While the location itself is a major draw, accessing it requires a bit of preparation. The roads leading up to the campground, particularly Forest Road 411, have been described by visitors as rugged and challenging in spots. Over time, due to unregulated use by ATVs and UTVs, some sections have become exposed with large boulders, which can pose a challenge for vehicles, especially larger campers and RVs. One visitor mentioned experiencing damage to their 28-foot bumper pull camper while navigating the road. For this reason, it is highly recommended that visitors with larger or low-clearance vehicles exercise caution and be prepared for a bumpy ride. Despite the challenging road conditions, the effort is well worth it for those seeking a more secluded and beautiful camping destination away from the crowds.

Beaver Creek Campground Reviews
ATV
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Been going there for years pretty place. Only issue is getting up there. After years of unregulated ATV and utv use has exposed the big bolders on the roads and is a pain in the a** to get up there. I have a 28 foot bumper pull camper I got up there but with damage. Use to go up and down the canyon with ease like a decent count road. Not no more
January 28 · Lindon TranstrumPretty nice camp ground it has some good spots
July 13 · Alex SheldonThis is really a fun camp ground. It’s extremely quiet with the exception of off-road motorized vehicles that may pass by. The bathrooms are locked on a seasonal basis. The campground is just beautiful with pine trees that surround the areas. You must register and pay to camp here.
June 19 · Robert BolarBeautiful canyon for a ride. We did not stay at the campground. But many families were enjoying them
July 03 · Trudi HatchThe road getting up to Beaver Creek is horrible, you need a truck, or a high clearance vehicle to get up the road. It is a pretty great place to camp.
