Jul 04, 2025 · Anel FloresYou can picnic along the lake, there are places accessible to the public, there are some amazing views of the lake, of course you can fish, there are places to rent a boat either to enjoy the lake or to fish, there are some trails that you can do, it has a small waterfall and a trail that you can walk. In general, if you want to do something quiet, the lake is undoubtedly a good option.
Jul 02, 2023 · YayoA good time was had here! Perfect day, easy boat and tube rentals, just all around fun. The mosquitos are horrendous, I have more bites than I can count. Besides that, you have to visit at least once.
Jun 04, 2024 · Lisa Ramos10.17.23Bass Lake was clean & didn't smell funky at all, it's huge! But there's a lot of algae near the beach/shoreline. All along 1 side of the lake are waterfront residentials, the other side is State Park territory. Nice clean bathrooms at each recreational area, wood tables/benches, grills, a very powerful fresh water rinse off spout near entrance towards to lake from the parking area. We rinsed off the bottom of our shoes, too much wet sand! But you really can't fish off the side of the lake, too shallow, you need a boat to fish (and paid CA fishing license).FYI;-You'll be greeted by a barrage of sand flies in your face upon exiting your car, always unpleasant little buggers.-GPS is wonky here
