Jun 17, 2025 · 1akopecOur favorite campground. My kids constantly ask to go back. The lobster dinner is amazing, and they have pots you can use to cook your own. The sunsets are amazing and the beach is so much fun to spend a day exploring to catch creatures. Sites are small but we never were at our site because of all there is to do on the campground and surrounding area. Would love to return.
May 19, 2025 · matt freeseWe stayed at this Campground in mid May. Our RV site was very nice with a table and fire pit. We were near the facilities ( which were nice with hot water). We could see the ocean from our site and it took us two minutes to walk to the water to see the sunset. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park, which was a nice size. Staff were great. We highly recommend staying here.
May 19, 2025 · Dee HarrisWe visit Acadia every year in the early spring and really enjoy staying at the KOA cabins. They treat their guests (both human and dogs) wonderfully. The cabins very in view and amenities. We love staying in the ones that overlook the water, but you need to reserve those months in advance because they are very popular. That said, it's worth the wait to sit by the fire as the sun disappears behind the tree line.
May 15, 2025 · Guido SteinWe loved LOVED loved this campground. The staff was friendly, informative and made you feel like lifelong friends in conversation. The views all around were stunning. We loved the rock fire puts but not all sites had them. Ours didn't and that made us all very sad as they are super cool. The kids had fun hunting for crabs in the shallow waters and I really enjoyed looked for little shells. The bathrooms were nice and clean. More clean in the morning than evening, obviously. And the water was HOT. I liked the individual showers. My son could go with me and I didn't have to send hi. With his brother. He is still not at the size I want to send him in a male restroom alone to shower. So, that was nice, we could get showers next to each other and I didn't have to worry. This place is located close to acadia national park and bar harbor. We were all over both lolThe campground has its own little restaurant which is also a nice perk. We would definitely stay here again and for longer next time.
