Banner Ridge Yurt Reviews
It's silly to have a review for "service" for a backcountry Yurt. Everything there is typically maintained by the last person who was there before you, and so on. We were there the weekend of March 1, and everything was clean and ready and that's how we left it.We've done 4 different yurts in the Idaho City area, and this is possibly my favorite. I don't need views, I like the cuddly, secluded feeling it gave us, with some fun short runs we could hike and ski nearby. I added some drone shots to the photo bank since it seemed like that was what it was missing. Enjoy this Yurt! Leave no trace!
Apr 16, 2025 · Pauly W.Banner Ridge yurt is always amazing. Easy access, well outfitted, and was well preserved along with nearby trees during the pioneer fire, etc. Its the classic yurt which we have been using for almost 25 years! Plenty of split firewood, and logs for the fire. And a water tank for wash water. I only wish the trails to the south weren't so changed by the fire.
Aug 28, 2020 · Gary Zimmerman (gdz)Great place to get away from it all for a few days in a rustic Yurt. Just make sure you bring your own food and drinks and bedding.
