Ballyhoo Family Campground Reviews
We made a reservation for 3 days. Ten days prior I had a medical emergency and called to cancel. They have a no refund policy that is not in their brochure or website. Stay very far away.
Apr 22, 2025 · Sydney TessonWhat a diamond in the rough! Campground is kept extremely clean and camp hosts extremely friendly. We had an issue with our trailer and Stanley didn’t hesitate to help with the issue. We are forever grateful for his help. You can’t go wrong staying here!
Jul 13, 2024 · Norma JacksonThis is our second stay at ballyhoo campground. We stayed the first time for 6 weeks while we sold our house. Doris and Stanley were very gracious host and the grounds are kept immaculate! 6 years later we came back while our new house to be done. (Yes we moved back to Tennessee!) Again Doris and Stanley were very gracious during our stay. I read these reviews about the rules. They are put in place for a reason. So that everyone has a pleasant and safe stay. As for the aggressive dog breeds not being allowed, I myself are glad for those rules, as many seem to think they can let their let there dogs run loose. We have two small poms that wouldn't have a chance if they would be attacked. God forbid a child! This is a very nice campground. We felt very safe here, and I guess if people don't think rules apply to them they should camp elsewhere. After all we all had to follow rules growing up, we shouldn't have a problem with them as adults. If you want a nice quiet campground to relax and have fun, bring your family 👪 here! Thank you Doris and Stanley for another pleasant stay!
Jul 09, 2023 · Gail HowardIf your performance reviews is more negative than you had hoped, it can be a good idea to focus on how you can improve your campground. You might use the reviews as an opportunity to better understand people's expectations, what changes you can make in order to meet those expectations and create a plan for a Better Campground for the ones that was trying to set up are mother up in a campground and for her.. was a very Bad experience getting set up in a Bad winter storm with snow and Ice to say the least.
Jan 25, 2024 · Linda KingWe stayed at Ballyhoo Family campground for the first time this past Memorial Day weekend and loved it.The campground is very clean, well laid out where kids have TONS of space to run around and still be able to keep an eye on them as they play on the playground (which could use updating but our kids still loved it). The catch and release pond was beautiful and had plenty of fish to catch, including a couple huge catfish! For the holiday weekend the hosts held a nice little cookout for the campers. When we needed wood for our fire the owners gladly brought us the bundles to us on their golf cart. This campground has everything you need for a great camping trip and we will definitely be back!
