★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1There is ample space between camp sites where you are not too close to your neighbors. Restrooms everywhere around the site. Drinking water faucets placed around the site. Staff is very friendly and keeps the place very clean. They drive around constantly, checking that everyone is following the rules. About a half mile to Woodscanyon Lake. They also have ice forsake on site. It's camping with some added amenities. Love this place.
June 10 · Carlos OsornioAwesome getaway! Way cooler than the Valley with the smell of pine hitting you as you drive up the 260. Great spots for tents. Campers have to stay on pads. 3 minutes from the marina and boat ramp. Great fishing!
August 27 · Sparky KellyBeautiful campground for tent and RV camping. Sites are large. Pit toilets are well maintained. There is a dump station with water next to the campground. There is a small market down the road by the lake and boat ramp.
July 12 · Kim HayesNice campground but no hookups for trailers. Very close to the lake and clean bathrooms.
June 13 · Thomas StGermainWe just camped here (mid October), consider that this campsite is high in the mountain so the weather is waaaay cooler than what the forecast marks in Payson. We expected 55F and it was 39 F. 🥶🥶It also snowed during the day and in the night, which we weren’t prepared for.Besides the weather, we really liked the campsite. We saw that it was firts come first serve, and were afraid because we’ve never gone without reservation but it all went well. We arrived around 10:30 am and it was mostly empty. But there are a lot of campsites near incase it is full. The campsite is lovely, you can appreciate the fall scenery, leaves were starting to change!! 🍂🍂 Restrooms are very clean and the hosts very kind. The location is amazing. Very easy to access to any car because the roads are paved. It is close to a lake which is very pretty!!! And it has a small general store in case you missed anything. Can’t wait to go back!! But maybe during summer when the weather is better.
