Armitage Park Campground Reviews
This is a great little camping park! The sites are level, paved, and nicely spaced. Most have at least partial shade. It’s quiet. The showers are clean (but could use a slightly longer automatic cutoff time, lol!)The laundry room is excellent! Spotlessly clean, quality machines, reasonable prices. Showers and laundry have a door code, so they are open 24/7, which is convenient. We’ve stayed here twice now while visiting family in Eugene, and would absolutely recommend it
Jul 04, 2025 · Jill B.Great camping/RV campsite. Staff is awesome. Environment is pretty with lots of cool trails and is located close to town. Walk along river, sun bathe, picnic, fire pit. The best part was the 5$ dollar fire wood and 3$ ice. Those really helped us. Good value. Only thing I didn't like was the showers. They are individual units and are kelp clean. But water timer and shower head was annoying. Otherwise great trip
Jun 03, 2025 · Kaisonwe stayed at Armitage Park for a week before, and including July 4th weekend. This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. Large comfortable sites, include large picnic table and firepit. Firewood available on site though we managed to always miss the office hours so we bought ours at Fred Meyer. The park is lovely, QUIET, other campers very considerate. The bathrooms, and showers large, comfortable and clean. The water HOT. We will absolutely stay here again if the need arises. Lovely park
Jul 08, 2025 · Suzanne LauberI was passing through Eugene and was having difficulties locating a decent RV park that wasn’t in a trailer park. As a last ditch effort I checked Overlander and found a decent review for this one. It’s a beautiful wooded county park with approximately 30 well spaced sites. Amenities include private shower/restrooms laundry facility fire ring, full RV hookups EWS, table, dog park, and a trail along river. It’s close to the I-5 so convenient location without a lot of noise. I would definitely stay here again.
Feb 19, 2025 · Bonnie St JulienWe had an overnight here on our way out of Washington and into CA. I had read the reviews and saw something about homeless. There was none of that while we were here. The lady at the check in desk was very nice and informative. We didn't have an interaction with any camp hosts. we would stay here again and I would recommend friends here. very peaceful and stress free. Our site #30 was level. We could park, set up , and go see the area. Bathroom was clean. There were four rooms with a shower in each. We had our own shower in the camper, so we didn't use theirs. We did not need the laundry area on our overnight, but it was clean. Other campers were very friendly.
