At this time of year it gets to just over 70° and the water is very cool! The campsites are always well maintained and the park rangers make regular rounds. The lake is gorgeous but if your not entering from a boat slip then most access requires water shoes. The serpentine that lines a lot of the lake can be jagged so keep an eye on your little ones. A beautiful camp ground for nature walks, swimming, fishing, and boating. - Sean Robideaux
