Really enjoyed the unspoilt history of Chippoke State Park. Lovely level site. Friendly host who was most helpful. Lost electric in thunderstorm but quickly restored. Loved the beach area, visiting the Farm Museum and the plantation. The place is well run and staff couldn't be more helpful.the place, was quiet and very few guests which was contrary to the web site availability indications. We were told there, was only one site to be reserved when in fact we were the only ones in the loop. Not complaining the tranquility was enjoyable. The showers and restrooms were a,credit to the site. Would highly recommend this site. Enjoyed the ferry ride which was free. - Bob Lessemun
